Video: Devil

DEVIL from yonie.ethiopian.love on Vimeo.

I don't know who Yanie is but she made this video for Kanye West's - Devil in a New Dress.
The end caused my jaw to drop, gave me the da da da damn face, made me fall in love, and then made me watch the whole thing over again.
*btw, Ethiopian girls might be greater..

Video : The Art Direction - Progress Report

@TheArtDirection is something awesomely complex yet simple; like a fried green tomato and fried okra sammich in between a a delicious warm pita. In the last two weeks they've dropped these "Progress Reports" for us to show their creative process without letting us know their secret ingredients.

Takashi Murakami for Macy's Thanksgivings Day Parade

“He’ll be working with his mascots “Kaikai” and “Kiki” (see pictures below).

When asked if these characters might be unsettling for younger parade viewers, Robin Hall, the parade’s executive producer mentioned: “Fangs are very hot right now, if you’ve missed this trend.”

This is a really big look for those of you who know about making moves & what not.

Below are visuals of clay mock-ups of "kaikai" & "kiki" along with the dimensions of the floats that will be used, plus an animated video of the mascots to give you a deeper look into the characters.

LOGORAMA

Last night, I watched the Academy Awards (the Oscars) and was pretty impressed by the entire production. Very professional. Congrats to Mo'nique and Christoph Waltz, for their recognition as Best Supporting Actor & Actress, they did the damn thang! Hurt Locker was the big winner, winning Best Picture, and Best Director making Kathryn Bigelow the first woman receive the award.
I was however, surprised by a few things at the Oscars. One, the hip hop dancer. And, two, Logorama. Logorama, won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
